Position: Care Assistant

Location: Bishop's Stortford

Pay: Starting from £90 per day

  • Demonstrating patience, inspiration, care, and sensitivity towards the needs of vulnerable people, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
  • Actively listening to individuals, effectively reporting and accurately recording relevant information.
  • Collaborating with colleagues as a team player, while also being capable of working independently with minimal support.
  • Exhibiting resilience and proactive engagement when dealing with challenging behaviour.
  • Being willing and able to provide personal care assistance to individuals when required.
  • Valuing diversity, health, and safety, and consistently upholding safe working practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in a similar role or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and build relationships with autistic adults or children.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature towards vulnerable individuals.
  • A commitment to continuous personal and professional development.

Salary: The starting pay for this position is £90 per day. However, the pay can increase based on your success and contributions within the role.
