As a Challenging Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and complex behaviour challenges. This is a full-time position, where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young individuals.

What you'll do: ✅ Work closely with students who require additional support due to challenging behaviour

✅ Provide guidance and mentorship to students, promoting positive behaviour and personal development

✅ Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop effective strategies for managing challenging behaviours

✅ Create and implement individualized behavior plans to support students' learning and social integration

✅ Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the well-being of all students

✅ Monitor and record student progress, and contribute to the evaluation of interventions

What we're looking for:

🔹 Experience: While experience in a similar role is beneficial, we also welcome enthusiastic individuals who are looking to kick-start their career in special education.

🔹 Passion: A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs is essential. 🔹 Empathy: The ability to empathize with students and understand their unique challenges is crucial to building positive relationships.

🔹 Resilience: Working with challenging behaviours can be demanding, so resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure are important attributes.

🔹 DBS Check: A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for this position, or the willingness to obtain one.
