The Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to lead the compliance functions within our company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of our education staff placement process align with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

 

Compliance Responsibilities

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and education professionals, demonstrating Dunbar Education's commitment to compliance excellence.

·        Act as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from both schools and education professionals.

·        Oversee the end-to-end compliance process for education staff placements, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and requirements.

·        Work closely with our education professionals to ensure completion of necessary compliance documentation.

·        Facilitate seamless compliance processes by engaging with candidates.

·        Verify documentation for both placed and registered applicants.

·        Conduct compliance checks before candidate interviews.

·        Efficiently manage candidate documents within the company database.

·        Initiate reference requests as part of the compliance process.

·        Generate comprehensive compliance reports.

 

Management Responsibilities

·        Serve as the go-to person within the organization for all compliance queries, offering guidance and support to both recruitment team and Compliance officers.

·        Lead a team of Compliance Administrators, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

·        Oversee the workload distribution and ensure the team is working efficiently to meet compliance deadlines.

·        Develop and update compliance policies and procedures to align with changes in legislation or industry standards.

·        Implement and communicate policies to relevant stakeholders, ensuring understanding and adherence.

·        Make informed decisions on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

·        Provide comprehensive training to new starters, imparting essential knowledge on compliance procedures and company protocols.

·        Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing and implementing measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

·        Proven experience in a Senior Compliance or Compliance Management role, preferably within the education or recruitment sector.

·        Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including but not limited to DBS checks, right to work, and safeguarding.

·        Excellent organizational and communication skills.

·        Experience managing a team of compliance administrators.
