Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and provide classroom supervision in the absence of the regular teacher
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students in their learning and ensure their safety and well-being
- Follow the school's policies and procedures to ensure a consistent approach to teaching and learning
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions between lessons
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding student progress and behavior
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom and promote positive behavior
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, as you may be required to cover various subjects and year groups
- Ability to follow lesson plans and deliver pre-prepared materials effectively
- Previous experience working in a primary school or with children is desirable but not essential
