We are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team at our Primary School in Wellingborough.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the usual teacher, ensuring high standards of behaviour, and achieving positive educational outcomes.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with pupils and manage challenging behaviour in line with school policy. They should also have a sound understanding of current curriculum requirements and teaching methods.
Duties include:
*Delivering pre-planned work as specified by teachers and class teachers.
*Ensuring pupil well-being and health and safety at all times.
*Providing feedback on pupils' learning, where appropriate.
*Liaising with teachers/classroom assistants to ensure that any required resources are available.
*Making sure students stay on task and remain focused on their studies.
*Ensuring the classroom environment is conducive to learning.
