We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Design Technology teacher to join our team at a school in southwest London. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across all key stages, delivering high-quality and engaging lessons to inspire our students and help them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- They are delivering dynamic and engaging Design Technology lessons to students across all key stages, ensuring that lessons are appropriately differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
- Developing and implementing schemes of work that are aligned with the National Curriculum and our school's ethos and values.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.
- Participating in the broader life of the school, including attending meetings, participating in CPD, and contributing to school events.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree and qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Design Technology curriculum across all key stages.
- Experience teaching Design Technology in a UK secondary school setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
