Early Career Teacher ECT

Job Description

A primary school based in Northampton is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of diverse pupil groups
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement and learning
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement effective teaching practices
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development and well-being
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and events

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Completion of Initial Teacher Training
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to educational excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various school environments
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
