Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide High-Quality Care: Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their well-being and development.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Observation and Assessment: Conduct regular assessments and observations to track children's progress and plan individualised learning journeys.
  • Parent Communication: Establish effective communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow practitioners and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.


  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Early Years Practitioner or similar is essential.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in early childhood education, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • DBS Check: A valid DBS check or the ability to obtain one.
