Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities for children in the early years.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters children's development, well-being, and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual learning journey.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Promote positive behaviour and social skills among children.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the overall positive ethos of the setting.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner.
- Passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
