Dunbar Education is currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team in a temporary-to-permanent role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities for children in the early years.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters children's development, well-being, and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual learning journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Promote positive behaviour and social skills among children.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the overall positive ethos of the setting.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner.
  • Passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
