We are currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team and work with schools in the St. Albans area and its surrounding regions.

Position Overview: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children during their formative years. Your commitment to nurturing their development, ensuring their well-being, and creating a positive learning environment will be essential to their growth and happiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in the early years age group.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children's progress and tailor activities to their individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and share this information with parents/guardians.
  • Ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a supportive and inclusive early years setting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in early years education and childcare.
  • Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner or in a similar role.
  • Understanding of early years curriculum and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
  • Availability for full-time work on a long-term basis.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position with working hours corresponding to the early years setting's schedule. Long-term commitment to the role is expected.
