Dunbar are now looking to recruit for ECT's to join our fantastic Primary Schools in Bedfordshire starting from September!
We are looking for candidates that have previous experience teaching in a primary school, whether that is placement or external, excellent knowledge of the curriculum, great leadership & engaging skills and the ability to increase childrens learning to a high-standard.
This position is full-time from September and you ideally need to drive (it is not compulsory).
The main responsibilities are:
- Taking on full-teaching duties (planning lessons, marking class and homework, parents evening and feedbacking to pupils and co-teachers, prepping activites and assessments)
- Establish and control the behaviour of the classroom and identify if a safeguarding line is crossed to report it.
- Differentiate the learning styles for students to ensure the needs of the individuals are met.
The requirements to apply:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant degree.
- 6 months minimum experience teaching in a primary school.
- DBS on the update service.
- Outstanding knowledge of the curriculum.
