We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support and Pastoral Worker to join the team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to pupils and their families, helping to address social, emotional, and behavioural needs. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to pupils facing challenges.
  • Develop and implement family support plans in collaboration with parents and carers.
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  • Organize and lead workshops and group sessions for parents on various topics.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a positive school ethos that promotes inclusion and well-being.
  • Support teachers in managing and understanding pupils' pastoral needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • A relevant qualification in social work, counselling, education, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to making a difference in children's lives.
