Position Overview: As a Full-Time Functional Skills Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and support to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons tailored to the specific needs of SEMH pupils.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching and support staff to create an integrated and cohesive educational experience.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing individualised interventions as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Functional Skills in a UK educational setting.
- Proven experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service.
- Strong understanding of the UK education system and curriculum.
