Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students' learning and development, ensuring they receive the guidance and assistance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Assisting teaching staff in delivering lessons and activities, including preparing materials and resources.
  • Supporting students with their academic progress, offering encouragement and feedback as needed.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to implement strategies for supporting students' individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • An understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with a commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of students.
