SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Brent

Dunbar Education is seeking a talented SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at a primary school in Brent.

About the Role:

- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

- Location: Brent

- Type: Full-time,

- Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one support to a child with ASD, ensuring their individual needs are met.

- Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and support strategies.

- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt classroom activities and materials.

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

- Monitor and report on the child's progress and development.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children with ASD or other special educational needs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- A relevant qualification or training in special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
