Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Year 6 Intervention Teacher to work closely with a small group of children, providing tailored support and guidance to ensure their academic progress. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, targeted intervention sessions to support the learning objectives of Year 6 students.
- Collaborate with the school's teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to student development.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support to both students and parents/guardians.
- Maintain accurate records of student development and intervention strategies employed.
- Uphold the school's values and ethos, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 education, particularly Year 6.
- A passion for fostering the academic and personal development of children, with a strong commitment to delivering targeted interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and experience in implementing effective teaching strategies.
