The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic KS2 Phase Leader Class Teacher to join the dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher with leadership potential to make a significant impact on the school's journey towards excellence. The successful candidate will lead the KS2 phase, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and provide exceptional classroom teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the KS2 phase, supporting staff development and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Teach a KS2 class, delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress and achievement of pupils within the phase, implementing strategies to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement school policies and improvement plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the school's ethos and values.
  • Support the professional development of KS2 staff through mentoring, coaching, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Engage with parents and the wider community to enhance the educational experience for all pupils.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with successful teaching experience in KS2.
  • Proven track record of raising attainment and delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and the wider community.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for educational excellence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider life of the school.
