Location: Welwyn Garden City

Employment Type: Temporary through Dunbar Education (First 20 weeks), with a possibility of transfer to a permanent contract with the school

Are you passionate about supporting the learning journey of Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs? An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant in Welwyn Garden City.

Role Overview: As a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support, assisting with classroom activities, and collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored interventions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in a SEN setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of students.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Employment Details: This position will be initially employed through Dunbar Education for the first 20 weeks, providing an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your skills and dedication. Following this period, there is a possibility of a seamless transfer onto a permanent contract with the school, subject to mutual agreement.
