Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a dynamic team at a reputable secondary school in Maidenhead. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with enthusiastic students and contribute to their musical development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive music lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Plan and prepare stimulating curriculum content that aligns with the national standards and the school's objectives.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive and develop their musical abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize extracurricular music activities, performances, and events.
  • Stay updated with educational developments and incorporate innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels; Key Stage 5 experience is beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
