Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of students with challenging behavior.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and creativity.
  • Utilize your teaching experience to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of the students.
  • Incorporate music production techniques into the curriculum to enhance student learning and interest.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, using strategies that promote a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to provide a holistic learning experience.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school management.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Teaching experience, particularly in a challenging behavior provision setting, is essential.
  • Strong background and experience in music production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors and build positive relationships with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods.
  • Knowledge of current education standards and curriculum.

Salary and Benefits:
