Job Description:
As a Music Teacher in our SEN provision, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with SEMH needs. Your creative and inspirational teaching methods will help these students overcome challenges and develop a love for music. This is a full-time position with regular working hours, allowing you to have a meaningful impact on the lives of these students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEMH students.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
- Support students in developing their social and emotional skills through music education.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
- Monitor and report on students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Foster a love for music, helping students build confidence and self-esteem through creative expression.
Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs or in SEN provisions is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging music lessons.
