Job Description:

As a Music Teacher in our SEN provision, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with SEMH needs. Your creative and inspirational teaching methods will help these students overcome challenges and develop a love for music. This is a full-time position with regular working hours, allowing you to have a meaningful impact on the lives of these students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEMH students.
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
Support students in developing their social and emotional skills through music education.
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
Monitor and report on students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
Foster a love for music, helping students build confidence and self-esteem through creative expression.

Qualifications:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
Experience working with children with SEMH needs or in SEN provisions is highly desirable.
Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging music lessons.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges.
