Key Responsibilities:

As a Nursery Keyworker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Supporting the learning and development of children aged [Specify Age Group].
  • Promoting positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Implementing the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum.
  • Monitoring and recording children's progress and achievements.
  • Collaborating with the team to create engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:

  • A clear and current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Desirable Skills and Qualities:

The following attributes will strengthen your application:

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate learning activities.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Food Hygiene certification.

Working Hours:

This position requires you to work from 7.40 am to 4.00 pm, term time only. This schedule aligns with the school calendar, allowing you to enjoy well-deserved breaks during school holidays.
