Job Title: Nursery Manager
Location: Northampton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Term Time Only)

About Us: Dunbar Education is a trusted recruitment agency specialising in education. We are currently working on behalf of a reputable local nursery in Northampton to find a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to join their team.
Position Overview: As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the nursery. You will lead a team of passionate educators and ensure the provision of high-quality care and education to children during term time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the nursery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Curriculum Development: Oversee the development and implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of the children.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and mentor nursery staff, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering their professional development.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing their concerns and providing updates on their child's progress.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and clean environment for children, following all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Budget Management: Manage the nursery's budget effectively, making strategic decisions to maximise resources.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of care and education, conducting regular assessments and evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or similar leadership role in an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications are preferred.
