Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a local primary school? Dunbar Education is proud to partner with a school in St Albans to recruit for a Nursery Teacher position.

Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education to a small group of seven children in the nursery. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the early development and learning experiences of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports the individual needs and interests of each child
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote positive relationships and communication
  • Assess children's progress and provide feedback to support their learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in early years education
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with children, colleagues, and parents
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a passion for inspiring young learners
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and relevant safeguarding training
