Science ECT (All Specialisms welcome to apply)
We are seeking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Science ECT to join our thriving and successful school in Romford, Havering. This is a permanent role starting in September 2023 and is open to all specialisms of Science.
Key Responsibilities:
- To teach Science to KS3 and KS4 students
- To be able to teach a specialism to A-Level (where appropriate)
- To inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- To plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons
- To assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents and senior leadership team
- To contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified teacher with QTS
- Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach across the age and ability range
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Location: The school is located in the beautiful town of Romford, in Havering with excellent transport links into central London and surrounding areas.
