Job Overview: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Girls' PE Teacher to join our team in Luton. As a Girls' PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring physical education lessons to female students, fostering a love for physical activity, teamwork, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of female students, ensuring inclusivity and diversity in sports activities.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and track students' progress, providing timely feedback and support for improvement.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting discipline, respect, and enthusiasm for physical education.
- Extracurricular Activities: Encourage and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and competitions to enhance students' participation and skills.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support the overall development and success of students.
- Continuous Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest educational trends, methodologies, and health and safety regulations, actively participating in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching degree.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience teaching Physical Education in the UK.
- Specialization or experience in teaching girls' PE is highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of the PE curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
