SEN 1:1 Assistant (Primary Ages)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN 1:1 Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes. This is a permanent role in a primary school setting, providing support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide 1:1 support: Work closely with a child with SEN to assist them in their academic and social development.

  3. Assist with Personal Care: Depending on the child's requirements, you may need to assist with personal care tasks.

  • Previous Experience: Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.

  • Patience and Empathy: The ability to empathize with children's struggles and demonstrate patience is crucial.

  • Excellent Communication: Effective communication with children, teachers, and parents is essential.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility in your approach and the ability to adapt to the child's changing needs.

  • Safeguarding: Awareness and understanding of child safeguarding procedures.
