Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team at our SEN school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English and experience working with children with special educational needs. This role requires an individual who is both innovative and creative in their approach to teaching, ensuring that all students are engaged and able to thrive.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students with SEN
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence


Qualities and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in teaching English
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Innovative and creative approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • DBS on the update service or willing to acquire one
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
