SEN Supply Teacher

Various contracts available

Starting pay from £120 per day depending on experience

As an SEN supply teacher, you will work with students who experience special educational needs and learning difficulties. You will have a track record of delivering interventions that promote positive behaviour management, self-esteem, and resilience in pupils. Working collaboratively with other professionals, you will provide a high-quality, inclusive education to meet the needs of our diverse student body. You will be responsible for setting challenging, inspiring learning goals, and for tracking progress and evaluating the impact of your work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mark work completed from activities during the day to ensure students receive feedback quickly
  • Follow lesson plans and keep students motivated throughout
  • Adapt teaching methods to different situations, subjects and needs
  • provide encouragement, helpful criticism, and support
  • Contribute to a safe, secure learning environment

Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Experience working with students with SEN and learning difficulties
  • Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies and interventions
  • Demonstrate the ability to work positively, collaboratively, and flexibly in a team environment
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with SEN
