Specialist SEN School - Immediate Start with Dunbar Education

Position: Specialist SEN School Staff (Qualified Staff or Experienced Candidates)

Location: Ludlow

Role Overview: We are looking for either qualified staff or candidates with experience working with SEN children. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to supporting and enhancing the educational experiences of students with a range of special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support and care to students with SEN.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons and activities that meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Certificate, SEN qualifications) or significant experience working with SEN children.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
