Role Overview: We are looking for either qualified staff or candidates with experience working with SEN children. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to supporting and enhancing the educational experiences of students with a range of special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and care to students with SEN.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons and activities that meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Certificate, SEN qualifications) or significant experience working with SEN children.
- A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
