SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for our Special Educational Needs schools. In this position, you will be supporting students 1-2-1 with their learning, acting as a mentor for the students and providing them with support for any complex mental health diagnoses and learning difficulties including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia. Additionally, you will be helping students to reach targets set in their EHCPs, and assist teachers and other staff to prepare the classroom for lessons.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with children, supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours, and must have an understanding of the education sector and their role within the provision. The successful candidate must also possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and must have a Safeguarding Children Qualification.
The salary for this position will be according to experience and can be paid through an Umbrella company or by PAYE.
