Dunbar Education are currently working with a Special School near Royston who support pupils aged 6 to 19 yrs. We are currently helping them recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Teaching Assistant to work with their fantastic young people. The post is 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, term time only).

You will play a crucial role in supporting young people with a range of needs, including PMLD, complex medical conditions and autism to achieve both their academic and personal goals. The role may require some participation in physical intervention and personal care routines. You must also be able and willing to support students in the water during swimming or hydrotherapy activities

Experience of working with young people who have learning difficulties and/or complex needs would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
