Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary (with the view for a permanent position)

Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support our students in reaching their full potential. The role involves assisting teachers in delivering tailored educational and behavioral support to children with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Support classroom activities and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to meet the individual needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the specific requirements of our school environment.
