Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a team at a secondary school in Slough, Berkshire. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced educators to support students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to excel academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
  • Minimum 6 months UK classroom expereince
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is required.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
