SEN Teaching Assistant

Currently seeking a patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team. You will work closely with a specific pupil with special educational needs, providing personalized support to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a pupil with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to adapt learning materials and activities.
- Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
- Monitor and report on the pupil's progress and well-being.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the needs of individual pupils.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
