Job Title: SEND Assistant Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £89 - £94 per day

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Students: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND in various educational settings.
Assessment: Assist in assessing the individual needs and progress of students, contributing to the development of tailored learning plans.
Inclusive Learning: Promote inclusive learning practices and create an environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Behavior Management: Implement behavior management strategies and support students in developing positive behavior and social skills.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of student progress and any incidents or challenges encountered.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
- A patient and compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various educational settings.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields are a plus.
