🌟 Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)! 🌟

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across the school.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEND.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of students with SEND, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure their academic and social development.
  • Liaise with external professionals and agencies to access additional support and resources for students with complex needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Specialism or additional qualification in Special Educational Needs Coordination (SENCo) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to promoting inclusive education for all.
