Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for students, promoting their emotional well-being.
  • Provide tailored support and mentoring to individuals and small groups, assisting them with their social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to devise effective strategies and interventions.
  • Implement personalized plans and interventions, monitoring progress and adapting approaches when necessary.
  • Create a positive and nurturing atmosphere, encouraging students' self-esteem and resilience.

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability, committed to making a lasting impact on students' lives.
  • Prior experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A valid and up-to-date DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
