Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENco) to join our team and make a significant difference in the lives of students. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that children with special educational needs receive the support and guidance they need to thrive in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Oversee and manage the SEN department, ensuring it operates effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of SEN students, adapting support as necessary to help them achieve their potential.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEN.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.


  • Previous experience as a SENco in a UK educational setting.
  • A valid and enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the update service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
