About the Role:

- Contract Type: Full-Time
- Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience) with potential for TLR for suitably qualified candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons to students across Key Stages 3-5.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging curriculum plans.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in English.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events related to English.
Requirements:
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level; applications from both ECTs and more experienced colleagues are both warmly welcomed.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
