Role Overview: We are seeking an innovative, passionate, and committed individual to join a dedicated team as a Teacher of Maths. This role offers the rare opportunity to contribute to the creation and development of a brand new curriculum and course within the school, shaping the future of the students from the very early stages of their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons, including GCSE level, demonstrating excellent teaching practice.
- Maintain high expectations for students' achievement and behavior in all aspects of school life.
- Forge and maintain positive working relationships with students and their families, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Demonstrate ambition for personal and school development, contributing to the continuous improvement of our educational provision.
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in all aspects of school life, working across both phases of the school as required.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of excellent teaching, particularly in Maths, including experience teaching at GCSE level.
- Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) and a degree in Mathematics, or related field
- Right to work in the UK
- High expectations for student achievement and behavior, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Ambitious mindset, with a desire for personal and school development.
- Willingness to work across both phases of the school.
