Dunbar Education Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a Fully Qualified SEND Teacher to join our team. This rewarding role involves teaching young people aged 16-25 with a range of disabilities, primarily autism, and many with additional disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly individualised learning programs aligned with EHCPs to meet the specific needs and aspirations of each learner.
- Deliver effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies to ensure learners make better than expected progress against their outcomes.
- Actively participate in College life, prioritising the learner experience and fostering a supportive collegial environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to degree level.
- Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) status with a PGCE or equivalent.
- Literacy and numeracy qualifications at least Level 2.
- Possession of a full UK driving license and willingness to drive college vehicles.
- Experience in further education curriculum delivery, planning, and administration.
- Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding children and young people, as well as equal opportunities and diversity at a management level.
