Dunbar Education is working in partnership with a primary school in Kettering that is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This is initially until Christmas however there is a strong potential that this will continue in January.
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a KS1 class. Your role and responsibilities include;
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils that require additional support
- Supporting the class teacher in preparing learning resources
- Positively handling behaviour
- Create an engaging learning environment
- Preparing the classroom for lessons
- Raising attainment and improving pupils' social skills

It is beneficial to have a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification however this is not essential.
