Position: Teaching Assistant for Challenging Behaviour Support
Job Type: Full-time, Long-term/Permanent
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to students with challenging behaviour, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by the class teacher or SENCo.
- Promote positive behaviour and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Support students academically, assisting with their learning activities and progress monitoring.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with students with challenging behaviour (previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable).
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
