Dunbar Education is recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Towcester.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a dedicated teaching team. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be passionate about education, knowledgeable about the Year 3 curriculum, and committed to fostering an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Year 3 pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes pupil participation and collaboration.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support each child's overall development.
  • Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, ideally in Year 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and school improvement initiatives.
