Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Behaviour Support Mentors to join our partner schools in Bedfordshire. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, encouragement, and assistance to students with behavioural challenges, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve academic success. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Develop and implement behaviour management plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitor and record student behavior and progress.
  • Offer guidance and emotional support to students to help them overcome challenges and develop social and emotional skills.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in behaviour support or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible.
