Our partner school is seeking a passionate and experienced Behavior Support Mentor to join their team immediately.

Position Overview: Our partner school is in search of a dedicated and skilled Behavior Support Mentor to work closely with their students, who may face challenging behavior issues. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners by providing tailored support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one behavior support and mentoring to students within the school.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective behavior support plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Offer guidance and support to students in various settings, both within and outside the classroom.
  • Attend training and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Proven experience in behavior support or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of behavior management principles and strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
  • Flexibility to accommodate the needs of students and the school.
