Job Description: As a Behavior Support Mentor, you will play a crucial role in helping students with behavioral challenges succeed in their educational journey. You will work closely with teachers, students and parents/carers to implement strategies that promote positive behavior and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to students with behavioral difficulties.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
- Offer guidance and emotional support to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive network for students.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills in behavior support.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students with behavioral challenges is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (subject to successful application).
