Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students with special educational needs
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
- Effectively manage and support students with challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Must hold a recognized teaching qualification
- Experience in special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively manage and support students with challenging behaviors
- Demonstrated calm approach and ability to create a positive learning environment
- Well-organized with excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:
- The salary for this position is between £28,000 and £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
