Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. If you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the skills to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to children with SEN in a classroom setting.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess the progress of students with SEN.
- Offer one-on-one or small group support to address specific learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential.
- A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
- The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
- DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
